On September 22, 2025 at approximately 1130 hours, the Camden Fire Department was dispatched to 15 N. 35th Street for the report of a garage fire. First report from PD was smoke showing. CFD Battalion 2, Dan Seybert, arrived and reported fire showing from a 15 X 20 detached garage that was only a few feet from the dwelling. The first due units were quick to stretch line to knock the fire and prevent it from extending to the occupied dwelling. Extensive overhaul was performed as fire was between the various layers of roofing material. The fire was placed under control a short time later and is being investigated by the Camden FMO.
