Hampton, N.J.— September 7— On Sunday, a crew from Hampton Fire Co. Station 13 took part in the Raritan Township Fire Company's 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, which was held to remember the 343 New York City firemen who perished on September 11, 2001, as well as the many others who died as a result of illnesses related to their work at Ground Zero.

Organizers emphasized that the climb is not a race, but a memorial tribute. By taking part, the Hampton Fire Co. crew showed solidarity with those who have been lost and those still battling the long-term effects of their service.
