Family Dog Perishes in Morning Fire

Fall River, Ma. On Monday September 21st Firefighters responded to 1841 Highland Ave for a report of a house fire. Firefighters arrived around 8:45 Am and Engine 12 radioed a working fire with flames showing on the "C" side. Attack lines were advanced though the front and rear doors where fire was found in the kitchen area of the home. Firefighters located a dog and removed it from the house to waiting EMS personnel who were unable to revive the families pet.
