Two-Alarm Fire Heavily Damages Auburn Home

Auburn, Mass. — September 12, 2026 — On Saturday evening, firefighters arrived at a two-alarm house fire on Warren Road and discovered significant flames emanating from the rear of the building. 


The initial calls came in around 7:07 p.m., and the Auburn Fire-Rescue Department was the main responding agency. Shortly after the first response, a second alarm was called for, summoning more resources to the scene. 


Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, and most of the flames were reported under control by around 7:30 p.m. Auburn Fire later stated that the fire had been brought under control around 8:29 p.m. 


The fire caused significant damage to the home. Local reports indicated that no injuries were reported. Investigators were still determining the cause of the fire.
