9/15/26 325am- The baker at Hot Bagels arrived at work to start preparing for the day. As he arrived the business was filled with smoke so he called 9-1-1. The Fire Dept responded under the command of Asst Chief Marc Palmieri and located a working fire in the walls and ceiling in the area of the oven. Fire extended thru the wall into the UPS store next to the bagel shop. The fire was rapidly contained and extinguished. The Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps responded to provide assistance if needed. There were no injuries and units were back in service at approximately 5am
