At 8:33 pm on Thursday, 9/10/26 Engines 3, 2, 1, 42 & 62 with East Great Plain Ladder 5 and Sub Base Truck 65 were dispatched to 907 River View Lane for a structure fire. Engine 3 arrived with smoke showing and stretched a line to the second floor, where they extinguished a kitchen fire.
Engine 2 laid in from the hydrant and established the water supply. Companies checked for extension and performed horizontal ventilation. Truck 1 cleared a fire alarm on Broad Street so the Base was cancelled.
Battalion 1 had command and reported the fire knocked down at 8:48. The Mohegan Tribal FAST and American Ambulance were also cancelled. The Norwich Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
