On Saturday, 13 September 2025, the Fairfield Fire Department responded to a garage fire on Berwick Avenue. Multiple units were dispatched, including Engines 2, 3, 1, and 4; Ladder 2; Rescue 1; Car 3; and Car 5.
Fire crews quickly brought the fire under control, preventing further spread and damage to nearby structures. No injuries were reported, and the Fairfield Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
Officials praised the coordinated effort of the responding crews for their quick and effective work.
