Pickup Truck Crashes Into City of Newburgh House

NEWBURGH, NY – The City of Newburgh Fire Department responded to a pickup truck that crashed into a house at 451 South Street on September 12th. City of Newburgh Police and Empress EMS were on the scene. City of Newburgh Police blocked South Street from Allison to Richmond Avenue. Firefighters isolated the gas to the residence, and the command requested Central Hudson and Code Enforcement to respond. Empress EMS transported two subjects to Montefiore-St. Luke’s Hospital. Police requested a tow truck. City of Newburgh Police are investigating the cause. Members of the City of Newburgh School District were also on the scene.
