FITCHBURG, Mass. (Sept. 6, 2025) — Gardner Fire Department’s Engine 2 took part Saturday in the traveling 9/11 memorial, an initiative organized by the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and staffed by FDNY firefighters who responded to Ground Zero.
The memorial will be open to the public again Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at the Fitchburg Airport, officials said.
