On Thursday, August 7, 2025, just after 9:00 p.m., Campton-Thornton Fire Rescue assisted Plymouth Fire-Rescue with a small fire at the Common Man Inn. Thanks to the quick actions of the first arriving crews, a fire involving an exterior electric sign was prevented from spreading into the structure.
CTFD crews assisted with ventilation of a light smoke condition inside the building. Engine 3, Engine 1, and Car 1 responded and remained on scene for about an hour before clearing.
