CORNWALL, NY - Cornwall FD responded to a MVA with possible entrapment on Route 9W in the area of the Cadet Motel on August 31st. Cornwall and New Windsor PD, along with New York State Police, Cornwall EMS, and New Windsor EMS were all at the scene. Firefighters used the jaws of life to remove one subject who was pinned in the vehicle. Two subjects were transported to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital by Cornwall EMS. Cornwall Police are investigating the cause of the accident. Route 9W was shut down to southbound traffic at Route 9W/Academy Ave. by New Windsor PD during the incident.
