WHALLONSBURG, N.Y. (Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025) — Firefighters in Whallonsburg and surrounding departments participated in a power line safety training session Thursday evening led by Northline Utilities LLC, officials said.
The program focused on how firefighters can safely operate around live wires and electrical hazards during emergencies.
“Everyone walked away with much-needed information on how to stay safe around power lines,” the Whallonsburg Fire Department said in a statement, thanking instructors Chris and Mike for their guidance.
