Broadalbin firefighters respond to crash on County Highway 126

BROADALBIN, N.Y. (Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025) — Firefighters in Broadalbin responded Saturday afternoon to a one-car crash on County Highway 126 that damaged a utility pole but caused no injuries, officials said.

The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company was dispatched at 1:24 p.m. for a report of a vehicle accident with possible injuries and airbag deployment. Police and Lake Valley EMS also responded.

An incident commander confirmed there were no injuries, and EMS was cleared to proceed non-emergency. National Grid was notified of the damaged pole.

Fire police directed traffic in the area between the Broadalbin-Perth Central School access road and Ridge Road while crews operated.
