Firefighters contained a vehicle fire in Cedar Glen West before it could extend to a nearby residence. The incident was reported at approximately 5:35 a.m. on August 20, 2026, in Manchester Township, New Jersey. Manchester Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Station 32, was the first responding fire company and arrived to find a vehicle on fire near a home. Station 32 personnel stretched a handline and began suppression operations. Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Company, Station 34, responded as mutual aid and assisted at the scene. Crews brought the fire under control without extension to the nearby residence. No injuries or fire damage to the home were reported in the available incident account.
