Berlin Quint 21-1 Operates as RIC at Building Fire in Winslow Township
Berlin, NJ - On July 26, 2026, at approximately 2024 hours in Camden County, Berlin Fire Company No. 1 Quint 21-1 was dispatched to the 300 block of South Egg Harbor Road in Winslow Township for a reported building fire.
Upon arrival, the crew was assigned to Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC) operations, serving as the dedicated firefighter rescue team while primary suppression crews investigated and worked to bring the incident under control. Throughout the operation, Quint 21-1 remained staged and fully prepared to immediately assist any firefighters operating inside the structure in the event of an emergency.
As the incident developed into an extended operation, Quint 21-1 remained on scene for approximately six hours, maintaining readiness and supporting overall fireground safety until being released by Command.
