Downe, NJ - On August 17 in Cumberland County, Downe Township Fire/Rescue and Dive Team units, including Engine 39 and QRV 39, were dispatched to Newport for a reported commercial motor vehicle crash.

Additional responding units included Engine 18, Rescue 17, and BLS 89, forming a coordinated multi-agency response to the incident. Upon arrival, crews-initiated scene assessment, secured the area, and began necessary operations to manage the crash involving a commercial vehicle.

Fire and rescue personnel worked to ensure scene safety, address any hazards, and support patient care alongside EMS providers. The coordinated response allowed for efficient management of the incident and ensured appropriate resources were deployed.
