Teaneck, NJ - On August 16 in Bergen County, Teaneck Firefighters FMBA Local 42 and the Teaneck Fire Department’s 3rd Platoon responded to a reported vehicle fire located near a structure.

Upon arrival, the first-due unit (SQ23) conducted a prompt size-up and determined that although the vehicle was actively involved in fire, there was no immediate extension threat to the nearby building. Crews quickly initiated suppression operations and brought the fire under control in a timely manner.

Firefighters worked efficiently to extinguish the vehicle fire and ensure the surrounding area remained safe, preventing any escalation or damage to adjacent property.

The incident was stabilized without complications, and no injuries were reported. The coordinated response ensured effective fireground operations and a safe outcome for all involved.
