Wyckoff, NJ - On August 19 in Bergen County, the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a commercial restaurant on Franklin Avenue for an activated fire alarm.

Upon arrival, crews initiated a detailed investigation and quickly identified the presence of a natural gas odor inside the occupancy, indicating a potential hazardous condition beyond the initial alarm activation.

Firefighters immediately secured the building and surrounding area to ensure public and responder safety, while access was controlled to prevent further risk.
