Wyckoff Truck 241 Assists at Working Structure Fire in Oakland

Wyckoff, NJ - On August 17 in Bergen County, Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department Truck 241 was requested to respond into the Town of Oakland to assist at a reported structure fire.


Upon arrival, Truck 241 operated as part of the mutual aid assignment, supporting fireground operations alongside Oakland Volunteer Fire Department and other assisting agencies. The crew performed assigned truck company duties under incident command, contributing to ongoing suppression and overhaul operations as required.


Multiple units worked in coordination to manage the incident, with crews maintaining continuous operations to support fireground effectiveness and scene safety. Wyckoff personnel remained on scene until their assigned tasks were completed and control of the incident was established.


The response demonstrated strong mutual aid coordination and effective teamwork between Bergen County fire departments during a significant structure fire operation.
