FALL RIVER, MA - On Tuesday, August 15th, Fall River Firefighters responded to 167 Rock Street for a reported bedroom fire. When fire apparatus arrived on scene they had smoke showing from the second-floor of a two-and-a-half-story wood-frame. All occupants were accounted for on arrival. Members laid an attack line and back up line to the second-floor and encountered fire in a bedroom. The fire was quickly knocked down and firefighters went into ventilation and overhaul. Firefighters used hydraulic ventilation to rapidly clear the smoke from the building.
