Two Transported from Two-Car MVA on Route 300 in Newburgh

NEWBURGH, NY - Winona Lake and Orange Lake Fire Departments responded to a reported MVA with rollover and entrapment on State Route 300, north of the Adams Fairacre Farms entrance, on August 20th. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate two subjects from the rolled over vehicle. One was transported by Town of Newburgh EMS while the other was transported by New Windsor EMS. Both were taken to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital. Firefighters spread speedy dry on fluids on the roadway before clearing. Town of Newburgh Police were assisted at the scene by NYS Police. Town of Newburgh Police are investigating the cause.
