Water Supply Challenges Prompt Second Alarm at Fully Involved RV Fire

Hillside, NJ - Hillside Fire Department Tour 3 responded to the 1300 block of Liberty Avenue for a reported vehicle fire, which was quickly upgraded to a fully involved RV fire behind a nearby residence.
Upon arrival, Engine 1 stretched an attack line and initiated suppression efforts. Due to limited hydrant access and extended water supply operations, a second alarm was transmitted to bring in additional resources.
Mutual aid companies assisted on scene, supporting fire suppression and water supply operations.
