— September 25, 2026 — On Friday night, firefighters in Dennis Township dealt with several incidents as rain and strong winds made conditions dangerous throughout the region, including a forest fire sparked by a fallen power line and a massive tree obstructing Little Mill Road in Dennisville.
The Dennis Volunteer Fire Company attended to the incidents. On Route 47 in the Eldora area of Dennis Township, a fallen wire was reported to have ignited a fire in the woods. Crews also went to Little Mill Road in Dennisville, where a big tree had fallen onto the road.
