At 12:59 a.m. on August 5, Mifflintown Hose Company No. 1 responded to a rollover collision on Route 322 eastbound close to the Mifflintown exit in Fermanagh Township.

When Captain 2, Boreman, arrived, the hammer lane was blocked by an SUV that had rolled multiple times. Before firemen could arrive, the lone person self-extricated and was assessed by EMS.

When Rescue 2 came, they assisted in opening one highway lane. Traffic control was handled by firefighters until the vehicle was removed by Geedey's Towing. Additionally, Pennsylvania State Police provided assistance.

Captain 2 led eight Mifflintown personnel to respond.
