On July 21, at 9:09 a.m., Mifflintown Hose Company No. 1 responded to a car accident on William Penn Highway close to Nittany Mart in Walker Township.
When Captain 2, Boreman, arrived, he verified that a car had collided with and sheared off a utility pole before passing throughout a field and landing in the trees. After the driver self-extricated, EMS assessed him.
Traffic management was performed by PennDOT, while car removal was handled by Geedey's Towing. BrightSpeed and Pennsylvania State Police both provided assistance on the spot.
