At at 10:35 p.m. on July 20, R.W. & BT. Fire Company Station 17 assisted Bedford County Company 35 in responding to a potential home fire in Saxton.
In addition to Tanker 17 and Chief 17, Engine 17 responded with five people. After arriving, Engine 17 set up shop on the A side of the house. Command 35 reduced the box alert after concluding that more resources were not required, and Tanker 17 and Chief 17 arrived.
Engine 17 arrived back at the station shortly after Tanker 17 and Chief 17. In order to provide coverage throughout the reaction, Engine 21 from Trough Creek Valley was moved to Station 17.
