Firefighters Respond to Reported Building Fire in Spring Ridge Corporate Center
West Lawn, PA - Township of Spring Fire Rescue Services responded to a reported structure fire at an office building in the 1200 block of Broadcasting Road within the Spring Ridge Corporate Center, along with multiple mutual aid departments.
Upon arrival, Engine 85 established a water supply and connected to the building’s sprinkler system while command was established. Ladder companies positioned to the roof, and crews began investigating reports of smoke on the second floor. Additional units supported operations and staged as needed.
Investigation determined the smoke condition was caused by a tripped breaker on a rooftop HVAC unit, with no active fire found. The condition had dissipated prior to arrival of crews on the roof.
Most units were released from the scene, with Engine 85 remaining briefly before command turned the building back over to facility personnel.
