Firefighters Respond to Transformer Explosion and Substation Fire on Yerger Boulevard
West Lawn, PA - Township of Spring Fire Rescue Services responded to a reported explosion and fire at a PPL substation on Yerger Boulevard in the North Whitfield section of the township. Initial reports indicated a transformer had exploded, with smoke, arcing, and a localized power outage, which was confirmed by police units on scene.
