On July 11, Franklin Fire Company personnel were called to a collision involving two vehicles on Johnson Road in front of Bricker Lumber Company.
When Chief 46 got there, two cars were involved. Before firefighters could arrive, one driver left the site and declined medical attention. Before Station 4 fire police came to secure the route, crews managed traffic control and debris disposal.
The driver who fled the scene is still being sought after by Pennsylvania State Police. Before the problem was resolved, Franklin workers worked for around twenty minutes.
