Fawn Grove, PA - Station 56 and surrounding mutual aid departments responded to a reported residential structure fire in the 3300 block of New Park Road after multiple calls reported a house on fire.
Chief 56 arrived to find a two-story residence with smoke showing from the second floor. Engine 56 advanced a 1¾-inch handline to the upper floor and quickly knocked down the fire, with support from Tanker 56 and Truck 54.
Mutual aid companies from York and Harford counties assisted with overhaul operations throughout the residence. The fire is believed to have originated from a faulty air conditioner.
No injuries were reported. The Red Cross was requested to assist the displaced residents, and Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company provided station coverage during the incident.
