Landing Zone Operations Support Medevac After UTV Accident

Dushore, PA - Dushore Fire-Rescue units responded to a reported UTV accident in the area of Deiffenbach Road, where a patient sustained serious injuries.


Station 57 EMS personnel arrived and initiated patient care, while Engine 57 and additional manpower from Station 58 established a landing zone to support aeromedical transport. Crews secured the area, coordinated communications, and ensured a safe environment for helicopter operations.


Stat Medevac 19 landed at the designated zone, and the patient was transferred for rapid transport to a hospital for further treatment. Units remained on scene until the helicopter safely departed and operations were complete.
