Fire crews were called to 15 Stratton Pl in Delmar for a possible structure fire on Monday, August 4, just before 5 p.m.

The caller reported a possible fire with smoke filling the home.

Delmar, Slingerlands and Elsmere fire departments responded to the scene.

Crews located a microwave fire that was quickly extinguished.

Firefighters took the microwave, with the burnt mac-n-cheese, and brought it outside the home.

The home was ventilated and the scene was turned over to the homeowner.
