Falmouth Crews Responded to Vehicle Fire After Crash

Falmouth, MA. — July 7 — After one vehicle caught fire, Falmouth Fire/Rescue, 399 Main St. (HQ), responded to a two-vehicle incident at the intersection of Route 151 and Cloverfield. In order to secure the area, put out the fire, and administer emergency medical care, firefighters collaborated with the Falmouth Police Department. After receiving treatment, two individuals were taken to a nearby hospital for additional assessment.
As they cleared the road and removed damaged cars, crews also controlled traffic. Safe travel conditions were restored and new risks were reduced thanks to the coordinated action. The event demonstrated the department's capacity to provide emergency medical care and fire suppression in complicated traffic situations.
