East Providence Firefighters Responded to Riverside Structure Fire

East Providence, R.I. — July 24 — East Providence firefighters responded around 3:30 a.m. to a house fire on Circuit Drive in the Riverside section of the city.
The fire caused extensive damage to the home, including the front, roof and siding, and also damaged a vehicle parked in the driveway. Firefighters continued working at the scene to extinguish hot spots after the main body of fire was brought under control.
Two adult residents were transported to the hospital as a precaution, while one firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor burns.
