East Providence, R.I. — July 24 — A structure fire on Circuit Drive in the Riverside neighborhood was responded to by the East Providence Fire Department and Emergency Management Agency, located at 913 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914. In order to make sure the building was secure, firefighters swiftly put out the fire and finished overhaul procedures. After the event, three people—including a firefighter—were taken to a nearby hospital for assessment.

Later, according to department officials, all three made a full recovery and were set free. The department's ongoing emphasis on patient care, firefighter safety, and efficient fireground operations while safeguarding the neighborhood was evident in the well-coordinated response.
