West Sayville N.Y.- On Saturday July 10th the NYS Drill teams association held the Suffolk County Drill tournament at West Sayville Fire Department. At this event teams competed in various events both motorized as well as running event including 3- Man Ladder, B & C Ladder, B & C- Hose, Efficiency , Motor Pump and the grand finale buckets. Approx 15 teams competed the top 10 overall teams were :
1st Place : Central Islip Hoboes
2nd Place : North Lindenhurst Piston Knockers
3rd Place: West Sayville Flying Dutchmen
4th Place : Islip Wolves
5th Place Hagerman Gamblers
6th Place: Farmingville Bandits
7th Place : Lindenhurst Snails
8th Place Bayshore Redskins - tie
8th Place : East Islip Guzzlers- tie
10th Place: Copiague Yellowbirds
