Levittown, Pa. — June 2 — At 4:50 a.m., Levittown Fire Company No. 1 arrived to help Tullytown Fire Company with an aggregate crusher machine fire at Atlantic Concrete on Old Bristol Pike. Suppression attempts were aided by Engine and Rescue 32, which operated a 1½-inch attack line while providing tank water to the engine. During the event, Falls Township Fire Company Engine 30 also provided assistance.
Because industrial equipment fires include heavy gear and possible hazards, coordinated activities are necessary. In order to contain the fire, safeguard adjacent equipment, and keep a safe working environment, firefighters collaborated. Fire officials did not immediately provide any other incident details.
