The Downe Township Fire/Rescue and Dive Team responded to a working commercial building fire in the City of Millville on May 20.

Rescue 39 was sent out at around 11:01 p.m., according to officials. in order to assist Millville firemen who are on the scene as part of a mutual aid reaction. During the commercial structure fire, crews contributed personnel and resources to help with incident operations and fire suppression.

Mutual aid relationships, which enable departments to share personnel and equipment during large or complicated disasters, were emphasized in the response.
