East Windsor Fire Company Handles Morning Vehicle Fire

Members of East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 responded to a reported car fire at the intersection of Old Trenton Road and Route 571 on June 3.


Station 42 was sent out at around 10:06 a.m., according to officials. Engine 42 arrived and discovered a passenger car completely engulfed in flames. Firefighters prevented additional risks at the scene by swiftly deploying a handline and controlling the fire.


In order to finish overhaul operations and guarantee that the fire was completely put out, crews stayed on the spot. There were no reported injuries.
