THETFORD, VT - On June 3rd, the Thetford Volunteer Fire Department responded to help mutual aid partners at a reported structure fire. As soon as they arrived, firefighters commenced suppression efforts after discovering a tiny residential building that was severely involved in fire. In order to set up a water supply, install handlines, and safeguard adjacent exposures, crews collaborated with local departments. Firefighters remained on scene conducting overhaul and suppression operations. No injuries were reported, and fire officials are looking into what caused the fire.
