East Greenville, Sat. June 11,2022, 11:38 AM-East Greenville Fire Co. , along with several other local fire companies, was dispatched to a garage fire in the borough on the 500 block of School Alley. Upon arrival Chief 38 had flames and heavy smoke showing. Quick responce from the fire companies had the fire under control with in a half hour. Heavy overhaul and checking for extension followed. The damage to the structure and to the contents was heavy. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is pending the outcome of the investigation. Assisting East Greenville Fire Co. was Pennsburg ,Red Hill , and Hereford fire companies. Fire Police from numerous fire companies also were there along with East Greenville police. An EMS unit from Montgomery County stood by.
