Exeter TWP, PA - The Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department deployed its heavy tanker apparatus Thursday, providing critical water supply and operational support to mutual aid crews battling a working structure fire in Earl Township.

On Thursday, October 1, 2026, emergency dispatchers alerted regional fire companies to an active structural fire requiring additional water shuttle capabilities. Exeter Township answered the call, dispatching both Engine-Tanker 25 and Tanker 25 to the scene.

Arriving apparatus integrated immediately into the incident command structure, assisting with tanker shuttle evolutions, rural water delivery, and exterior fireground support to sustain steady suppression lines.

Operating companies worked collaboratively to extinguish the flames and bring the incident under control, with Exeter personnel operating on scene for just over an hour before returning to quarters and restoring rigs to full service.
