Brookhaven, NY - On June 2nd at about 1:00 P.M., the Brookhaven Fire Department and South Country Ambulance were activated for a report of a dirt bike crash in the woods on Southaven Drive. After assessing the injuries of the patient it was determined that they would be using a helicopter. The Brookhaven FD secured the landing zone at Frank P Long School in Bellport. The 69-year-old male was then flown to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
