FDNY Medal Ceremony- The FDNY held is Annual Medial Ceremony at City Hall earlier this morning. Among the notable winners were Firefighter Michael Kotzo will receive the Chief of Department Peter J. Ganci Jr. Medal for his participation in two roof rope rescues during a Harlem fire. EMT Mitchell Tarnapolsky and EMT Amber Black will receive the Christopher J. Prescott Medal for their water rescue of two children in Coney Island in 2024 and Captain George M Polito of Ladder 169 was awarded the Shelly Rothman Medal; Rothman was long time member of the Bell Club.
