NEWBURGH, NY - Town of Newburgh held their annual Memorial Day Parade on Sunday, May 30th. Despite the drizzle of rain, many people still lined the streets to watch. Town of Newburgh Police, NFA JR ROTC, Town of Newburgh EMS and area Fire Departments marched to Algonquin Park. Troop 27 Boy Scouts marched along with three bands. American Legion Post 1420 rode in the carts towed by recreation vehicle. Many floats threw candy to the kids watching the parade.
