Minutes Matter: Rapid Attack by Endicott Firefighters Halts Multi-Family Kitchen Fire

ENDICOTT, NY — Rapid response and smart tenant actions prevented a catastrophic blaze Monday morning after an accidental kitchen fire broke out inside a multi-family residence.

At approximately 7:50 a.m. on August 24, 2026, the Endicott Fire Department in Broome County was dispatched to a reported working stove fire in a multi-family dwelling.
