Mutual Aid Companies Responded to Pacific Avenue Fire

WILDWOOD CREST, NJ — May 6th — In response to a reported dwelling fire, firefighters from the City of Wildwood Fire Department were dispatched on a first alarm assignment to the 7700 block of Pacific Avenue in Wildwood Crest. When Chief 3 arrived, a one-story multi-family home's back was on fire. As the first-due engine company, Squad Company 3 started fire attack operations while working with the department's D Platoon.


To swiftly put out the fire, Squad Company 3 firefighters collaborated with Quint Company 4 of the Wildwood Crest Volunteer Fire Department and Ladder Company 2 of the North Wildwood Fire Department. Before finishing the maintenance and checking for extension across the structure, crews managed to contain the issue in roughly ten minutes.
