WALTHAM, MA - On the morning of May 15th, Waltham Engine 1 was doing hydrant inspections when they saw a crash at Elm and Central Streets. They requested at least one Medic unit. A Honda Accord hit a brand new tow truck head-on. A second Medic was then requested. One male was transported to Newton Wellesley and a mother and young child were transported to Children’s Hospital in Boston, all with minor injuries.
