Mastic N.Y. May 2nd Mastic Fire Department and Mastic Ambulance Responded to a report of a vehicle crash. On arrival Lieutenant Rudy Sunderman {5-12-70} arrived on scene and advised he had no one trapped but needed units to continue in to clean up fluids and debris. Engines 5-12-2, 5-12-3 & Rescue 5-12-10 responded in. Members put down speedy dry and cleaned up debris as well as secured the vehicles. At least 1 person was taken to a local hospital with injuries. Mastic Fire Police and Suffolk Police 7th precinct officers assisted with traffic control for the duration of the alarm. All units were back in service in under 40 minutes.
