On Saturday April 11th the deer park fire department was activated for a reported house on fire on Sharon ln. 1-4-30 arrived on scene and had smoke showing from the roof. north babylon ladder 6 arrived on scene and went to the roof and found solar panels on fire. deer park engine 7 arrived on scene and stretched a 1 3/4 line and started extinguishing the fire on the roof. the scene was placed under control within 30 minutes.
