On April 19th the yaphank fire department was activated for a reported house fire. on arrival of 5-30-31 he had heavy smoke showing from the rear and started his 360 and found a deck fire in the rear. 5-30-30 arrived and made the decision do reactivate the working fire. 5-30-7 arrived on scene and grabbed a hydrant and stretched lines. 5-30-10 arrived and started searches and check for extension into the house. once all fire was knocked down the scene was placed under control.
